Executive Leadership
Global Professional Skills is spearheaded by two business partners:

Paul Sharman
During his more than 25 years of experience as a business leader, senior consultant and association executive Paul has become well recognized around the globe. From 2003 to 2008 Paul led a large US-based association as its President and CEO. During his tenure Paul spear-headed major improvement initiatives such as strategy, rebranding, IT upgrades, certification content & structure review, and international expansion. He traveled across the US visiting local chapters and member constituents and worked extensively in the global market place, across China, the Middle East and India, to advance the association’s presence and the profession it represents working with international bodies, and foreign governments and experts.

Prior to his association leadership, Paul seized a business need he saw for supporting organizations in a systematic approach to strategy, process and activity-based costing. In 1988 he launched a consulting company that is still successful today. In this role Paul worked across a wide range of industries and countries around the world including Canada, the USA, South America and Europe.

As an engaging speaker and well published author, Paul brings to GPS a wealth of insight, practical experience and connections. Paul also brings his many years of experience as an association member, having achieved his
Chartered Management Accountant (UK) certification early in his career. As one of our GPS Managing Directors, Paul focuses on building new client relationships and operating as a senior project consultant.
   
Christina Turner
Christina (Tina) brings over 16 years experience in consultancy and operational leadership with associations and for-profit learning organizations. She has deep expertise and practical experience in developing and implementing learning programs, including exam preparation systems. She combines a passion for learning excellence with a keen interest in the latest learning related technologies.

Tina has developed and installed large-scale in-house coaching systems, designed best-practice job processes as part of re-engineering efforts, acted as a senior professional development leader with P&L responsibilities, installed new learning & performance functions, managed a variety of LMS implementation projects using both proprietary and open-source technologies, overseen the development and market introduction of leading-edge multimedia exam prep tools and courses, and designed customized SAP and in-house specialized certificate programs.

In addition to her Bachelor of Commerce, she has taken many specialized programs in performance consulting, learning analytics & measurement, competency design and mentored with several top experts in her field. She has also completed a unique MA in Conscious Evolution from The Graduate Institute in the USA, deepening her understanding of human development across global cultures and within social systems. As one of our GPS Managing Directors, Christina focuses on leadership of learning program design & technologies and operating as a senior project consultant.

Jeffrey Horn - Jeffrey brings a wealth of experience in branding, marketing, leadership coaching and business development. Throughout his more than 25 years of senior leadership and consulting he has worked with a broad range of corporate and not-for-profit clients throughout the world. Jeffrey brings his talents to the GPS team to support our association clients in finding new ways to grow education and certification related revenue through improved business development strategies and enhancement of the line of sight between their membership needs and the needs of the marketplace in which they operate.

John Kittridge - John brings 35 years of both practical line leadership and consultancy experience to help associations with education and certification strategy formulation and implementation. He brings a talent for working with internal teams to draw a roadmap that links their strategic objectives, their education related goals and measures, and the on-job performance requirements of the professional practitioners they serve. John is a member of The Strategic Leadership Forum and continues to serve clients in a wide range of industries and professions from Petrochemical to Citibank to the Association of Government Accountants.

Natalie Judd - Natalie brings to GPS clients extensive talent in public relations, product launch and new market development. Natalie’s genuine passion for helping associations find their collective voice and use this voice to successfully sell its members’ services…build its industry’s profile…advance its agenda…stage successful meetings, conferences and tradeshows…and recruit & retain members is always at the heart of her work and reflected in the more than 30 association relationships she has enjoyed throughout her career. Natalie helps GPS ensure we deliver on one of the key elements of successful education and certification programs – marketing that speaks to your members.

Nick Shepherd - Nick has spent in excess of 20 years working in management consulting and training for service industry, “not for profit” and government sectors. He is a well known and successful workshop designer and professional facilitator. Nick lends his training & consulting expertise to support GPS clients in the development of learning programs and content repurposing.

Terrence Hobdy - Terrence’s hallmark for over 18 years has been making leading edge concepts real – assisting organizations in dramatically improving performance by implementing innovative methodologies, processes, and systems. Terrence uses these talents to provide expertise in the effectiveness of the processes we design for GPS clients and the methods we use to help them find and use the right decision-making data.

Emily Brodeur - Emily’s experience includes the design and development of advanced quantitative and simulation modeling systems in fields as diverse as association management, telecommunications, advertising services, and customer service & support for a PC hardware manufacturer. She has extensive experience implementing training programs for operational management and executive management teams. Emily combines these areas of expertise to aid GPS clients in learning data analysis, reporting and application.

Monique Czerlau - Monique brings a valuable talent for making learning data actionable for business leaders. She has over 12 years experience in using LMS systems and survey instruments to gather quantitative and qualitative data and packaging it into digestible, clear reports that support real-time decision making.
